ESI is our windows server + windows server Hyper-V plugin, it’s very similar to our VSI plugin but is targeting our windows based customers who are either running windows server as bare betal or as Hyper-V

Support For XtremIO Snapshots
Creating Snapshot of Volume
Below is the wizard which is used for creating snapshot for XtremIO Volume.
Read-only snapshots are only supported from XtremIO 4.0, So for XtremIO 3.0
this snapshot type option will be disabled
Create Snapshot of another Snapshot
In Volume & Snapshot tab for XtremIO storage system, ESI will give option for
creating snapshot from another snapshot. The selected snapshot will be the
source for creating a snapshot. On selection of a snapshot , this option will be
available as a context menu.
Refresh XtremIO Volume
A XtremIO volume can be refreshed from Snapshot of that particular
Volume. This option will be available in Volume & Snapshot tab. On
selection of Volume/Snapshot , this option will be available as a context
menu.
Below is the wizard which is used for Refresh/Restore .
All the snapshots of the selected volume of the selected are listed
Restore XtremIO Volume
A XtremIO volume can be restored from snapshot (read-only) of that
particular Volume. This option will be available in Volume tab. On selection
of Volume, this option will be available as a context menu.
